POLICY FOR EDUCATION CLASSES
- MSAR Members Class Fees are as follows: $10 Early Bird Registrations due in by Specified Due Date. After Specified Due Date, MSAR Member Fees are $15. This includes the Orientation and Ethics classes for New Agent members.
- Non-members of MSAR will pay the following: $20 Early Bird Registrations due in by Specified Due Date. After Specified Due Date, Non-member Fees are $25.
- Post license fees are as follows: $125 Early Bird Registrations due in by Specified Due Date. After Specified Due Date MSAR Members will pay $145. Non-members can pay $135 Early Bird Registration by Specified Due Date. After Specified Due Date, Non-members will pay $150.
- The Orientation and Ethics class is madated by the National Association of REALTORS and is a membership pre-requisite for the Metro South Association of REALTORS. Upon signing the MSAR Membership Application, agents agree to complete this class within 180-days, or six-months from their membership date. It is the responsibility of the agents to make arrangements to attend the all day Orientation and Ethics class. Agents not fulfilling this obligation will be automatically suspended from the board until the course is complete There will be a $50 reinstatement fee in order to re-schedule the class. As a convenience, we have Saturday classes scheduled. MSAR does not accept the on-line Ethics as part of the New Member Orientation/Ethics requirement.
- Cancellations require a 48 hour notice to receive credit for the pre-paid fee and take advantage of a "One Time Only", class transfer.
- No refunds will be given for cancellations without the 48 hours prior notice.
- A $10.00 No-Show fee (per 3-hour class) will be charged to MSAR Members who are pre-registered and do not show up. Persons charged a No-Show fee will be unable to pre-register for any classes until the No-Show fee invoice is paid. Each month the invoice is unpaid will result in an additional 10% fee added to the total amount due.
- The fee for all classes may be paid with cash, personal check, office check, money order, credit or debit card.
- Fax/e-mail registerations will be accepted with credit/debit card payment information (Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. The MSAR fax number is: 770-477-0267.

- There will be a $50 Non-Sufficient Fund (NSF) charge for all returned checks.
- All classes offer 3 hours CE credit unless otherwise specified.
- To receive credit for ANY class, you must arrive on time and remain for the entire class. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this requirement (this includes weather conditions).
- ALL classes are subject to change.
- If the school cancels a class the cancellation will be within 48-hours prior to scheduled class date. This school has to meet a minimum registration requirement and if this requirement is not met the class will be cancelled.
HOUSEKEEPING FOR CLASSES

Phones, pagers and text message systems are to turned off during class time. If a system goes off during the class, the agent will be asked to leave the class and they will not receive credit.

During breaks, agents are free to check any messages and return phone calls, however, upon returning to class, the systems are to be turned off.

It is the responsibility of the agent to insure their handheld communication equipment is turned off properly.

In order to receive credit for any class, the agent must stay through the entire class time. This includes arriving on time and returning from breaks on time.

There will be NO RECRUITING ALLOWED at any time.
The Georgia Real Estate Commission audits classes from time to time.
If these policies are not being enforced, MSAR could lose the ability to provide future classes for our membership.
